With the collaboration of ACROSS asociation, the 7th Congress on International Migrations in Spain will hold the ACROSS Day Bilbao 2012, for wich we invite artists to submit artworks in the field of illustration, graphic art and comics which focus on migration within Europe as a cultural opportunity. The artists can use our topic “Myself, elsewhere” as an inspiration to tell a story.
With this topic, we invite artists to reflect on everyday experiences of “cultural migration”: from travelling within Europe to having encounters with different nationalities and cultures, due to study, work or other circumstances.
